The Way out of Stress and Anxiety

–>”We take care of the future best by taking care of the present now.” Jon Kabat Zinn

Learn simple and effective resource of Mindful awareness, meditation and movement to increased focus, creativity, wellbeing, problem solving skills, let go of worry, pain, health problems and stress to rewire for more resilience and happiness.

The 8 week MBSR courses are a hybrid of the approach’s researched by Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn over 30 years ago and the research of Mark Williams., John Teasdale and Zindel Segal at Oxford university in mindfulness based cognitive therapy for depression and prevention of relapse.
The 8 week program is run as workshops. Each session is for 2 hours and is experiential. We practice the various moving, sitting, lying meditations that we can do in everyday activities. They can easily be fitted into daily life.
We learn how stress affects our minds, bodies and relationships and how we can change our habits by anchoring our awareness in the present moment with either: our breath, body, sensations or senses.
Mindfulness meditation help us observe difficulties without reacting or replaying past habits that have caused us emotional or physical suffering., to witness these challenges as normal events like the weather.
Mindfulness is a practice, like washing, a daily activity to deepen our stability, wellbeing, happiness and understanding.
